What is Magic - Black or White

Black and or White Magic are but the working phenomena known as Mental Magic or Mind Power. That is, "Will Power and Desire Force" in working combination or simply working together.

There exist in Nature a Dynamic Mental "Principle", a Mind Power. It pervades all space. It is immanent in all things. And it works for anyone.

Its service, like the sun and the rain, and all natural forces, is open to all. The Just and the Unjust: Good and Bad; High and Low; Rich and Poor.

It responds to the proper efforts, no matter by whom exerted, or for what purpose called into effect.

We have seen the word "initiation" in books on mysticism and quietism. Initiation is the conscious attainment of illumination, of knowledge, and of power. It is an expansion of consciousness on the mental plane. It is a step on the rungs of the ladder to knowing oneself. The initiated student is like a man controlling an automobile; he can aid and assist his fellow beings, or he can ruthlessly destroy them. Thus initiation is the attainment of conscious power, whether good or evil.

The White Magician

Man has two natures within him, the 'white' atom in the heart, and the 'black' atom at the base of the spine, and it depends upon the man's Aspirations as to which atom rules, the higher, or the lower self. By giving in to lust and the desires of the flesh the 'black' atom becomes powerful and seeks to overthrow the higher law within.

The Black Magician

These magicians have the power to intensify speech giving it a hypnotic influence. Preachers often feel and use this power, and this is frequently the beginning of a religious revival that often increases"sexual attraction". This can be proved by the increase in the birth rate after the emotions of the people have been stirred. They always seek to bring about sex worship. Children born under such conditions are generally imbalanced; while, later in life, their astral bodies are more easily impressed by these lower Vampire entities.

People do not realize that the black magician, similar to the white magician, has at his beck and call myriads of forces, both elemental and elementary. There are spirits who, unknown to the average man, follow the direction of his thought like locusts, to project into his atmosphere the so-called evil, and the so-called good.

A Word Of Caution

These scintillating intelligences often place men in prominent positions of wealth and power in order to influence them to become great destructive agents. There is an old Hermetic saying, "When your adversary cannot gain power over you when you are poor, he will make you rich, and his task may become easy." They often train assistants to enter groups of instruction in order to work the downfall of the group leaders; they are clever in praising the work of so-called spiritual teachers. Unfortunately these men always search for deficiencies in a teacher's character in order to undermine his work. They are past masters of ridicule, and have a deep knowledge of the powers of suggestion, and they seek to break up the unity in any group which is dedicated to service or devotion to "God".

There are many schools of the "left hand" side of magic seeking to gain power and control over the youth of today, particularly when they are rich. Youths, who are drawn into these circles by curiosity, are invariably given opportunities to gratify their passions and desires through sex worship. It is difficult for one who has been enticed into ceremonial magic of the darker side to become clean again, for there is a law dealing with all "black" magic, which is, that if the disciple fails he becomes the prey of the forces which he has evoked.

Observe Others Carefully

We must remember that many people who are really great souls have fallen into ignorance (evil) through the practice of black magic. These people are "halfway houses," or contacting points with the dark realms of the so-called evil beneath our feet, and those who surrender their souls into these regions are able to pass the powers of darkness into humanity, and contact people with the elemental and demoniac entities of nature and man.

Should you meet these bringers of misfortune to others, be non-resistant, and seek and speak of the good that you can perceive in them. This is a process of being negative to the attachment with which they seek to contact you. The world in general would laugh if we spoke of the great power which some of these lost soul possess, but the power of life and death is one of them.

The Astral Sheath

Its several strands are entwined into one cord attached near the navel. Gravity affects it, and its greatest densities are collected into a sac-like formation that extends below the feet, as in the illustration. The atomic intelligence of this sac possesses knowledge of good and evil forbidden to man and represents man's lower elemental and animal past.

Shown only are the main strands; from these numerous others branch out. The illustration shows only the skeleton of the astral body and not the complicated, web-like appearance as seen by the clairvoyant. The astral body is a pattern body or matrix upon which man's physical framework is constructed; it is most akin to the physical body and registers its emotions and desires. This has been symbolized in "Genesis," as the tree of knowledge that grew the forbidden fruit of good and evil, and it is this that the black magician contacts.

They do not realize that what they evoke and send out towards a person returns to them, just as a dog returns to his master. As these creations are conceived by the "will and imagination" of the operator, so they return to him, and if he is not careful, they will distort his imagination. Our asylums have many inmates with distorted imaginations, and the imbalanced imaginations of humanity unite and form a composite whole, which if contacted, may bring illusion to and transform a passive or a weak mind.

As long as man is blinded by his own passions and desires he will remain a prisoner of the submerged world beneath our feet. The beauty of these lower spheres is intense for they use their arts for the glorification of their own persons, and appear in an evil loveliness far beyond any ever witnessed in a beauty pageant. They are robed in the evil of their spheres. Individuals that are contacted by these entities are probably tempted beyond endurance for this evil encircles one in an atmosphere of intensified mental lust and passion.
