That’s right, only a few ideas run this world. Millions and Billions of dollars are being made each year and millions are employed through these IDEAS. Just think for a moment, which IDEA is the auto industry receiving it’s benefits from? Henry Ford’s. Telecommunications Business – Alexander Bell, Rubber Business – B.F. Goodwich, Internet Business - Levi C Finch & Robert W. Taylor. We could go on and on but you get the point.

What is an Idea Anyway?

Let’s look at it this way; perhaps we can see it better in our minds eye if we put ourselves in Fords shoes. Henry Ford from the very beginning had absolutely no physical materials what so ever to work with, nor did he have any idea of the business opportunity he was giving to the world. He would attempt to describe this monstrosity (as it was called) to another human, who no doubt call him crazy, even insane, how can steel and iron move without a horse or some type of animal to pull it. They just could not see it, why? Because it was in his mind only as an IDEA, and you can’t see an idea, only the one that has it can see, and only with the mind’s eye. His constant thinking, his mental attention directed toward it finally producing a thought image. After producing this thought image he could describe and draw this thing so others could get a concrete image of what he was talking about, this IDEA in his mind. Now after gathering all the materials together he and his team of engineers working from the mental image (seed idea) was able to give to all the doubting Thomases what we today call an automobile. And look at that IDEA today. The business of cars sweeps across our planet, and we have the privilege of cursing on the freeway in some of the most beautiful and streamline automobiles the mind can imagine.

If you wanted to grow watermelons and had no seeds you would go where the seeds were sold. You would purchase a package of watermelon seeds. On the outside of the package would be the image of the vine, the blossom and even the actual watermelon itself. So, seeds contain all the characteristics, potentiality and attributes of the thing to be. Sown in the right soil they will produce everything out of itself even back to the source of itself via. Obstacles To Your Ideas

First, to conceive of an idea one must have a receptive mind. Most people have a closed mind and therefore block and prevent the natural flow of ideas. If you are fortunate enough to possess an open mind, and believe this, to be successful in business an open mind is needed. Just take a look around, look at all the heavy hitters Bill Gates, Donald Trump and T. Boom Pickens each possess this quality.

There are three obstacles you will have to overcome or let me say rise above; they are, Ignorance, Fear, and . Let us look at each of these.

first if we are ignorant of anything no matter what it is we will not know how to do what needs to be done. So in many cases we will either fail or fall far below our expectations. This is why we have schools and teachers, instructors and mentors to teach us the how to.

Thinkers in Business hire executives to carry out what they think. Yes! This is true, you may not have observed it but most thinkers can’t execute the things they think of, so they employ executives to see the business idea completely through. This does not mean we are ignorant per se, it only suggests that we lack certain knowledge on a certain subject or process. And the flip side of that is, many executives in the business world can’t produce ideas.

The second obstacle is fear-whatever we are afraid of we will not even try. Fear of failure, and fear of success! Yes, success, because once you have achieved then there is the maintenance of the success. Ignorance and fear are the two enemies no race, nation or individual can rise above.

Procrastination, it may be last on the list but not in importance. The business world is starved for fresh and new ideas. Procrastination in its simple sense means: to put off doing. I once had an instructor who lectured consistently about this particular obstacle. He had gotten fed up with the phrase we all use or have used at some point in our endeavors. The famous "I’ll get around to it" so one day he came into the class room went right up to the blackboard drew a wide circle 0 and in the middle of it wrote two words "TO IT". He then turned to the class and said, “Now you have no more excuses I have just given you what you have been asking for”. We looked at him and then each other in confusion. Then he said, "This is your around to it". He then looked at one of the students and said, "now, when you say to anyone I’ll get AROUND TO IT remember you already have it, so no more Procrastination".

Sow Your Seed Ideas

And the process of this is called VISUALIZATION. That is, you build up a mental matrix or mold, little by little, until you have it before you clearly - until it stands out clearly formed as a mental image, just as you would see it if it were actually materialized. Then you must hold this mental image before you constantly, regarding it not as a mere imagination, but as something real which you have created in your mind, and which will proceed to surround itself with the materials necessary to give it material objectivity, or materialization.

If you cannot see the whole thing at first, as a mental image—that is, if you are not able to build up a complete matrix by visualization, then do the next best thing—which is the very best thing for the majority of people—and build a matrix of the first step toward the whole thing, that is, the first thing that is needed. Then Concentrate upon this first thing until the mental image stands out sharp and clear, and you will find that things, be it a business venture or anything, have been started in motion. Then, you may add little by little to your matrix, and build up your mental image a little larger and in greater detail.

There is not one established business in existence today that did not begin in this way, step-by-step. And here is an important thing. You must mentally see the thing as actually existing, right now, and not as "going to exist" later on. You must realize that the mental image exists right now; else it will lack clearness and effectiveness.

You must pour into that mental image a constant supply of strong, positive "Desire-Force, and Will power," all of which will spread out in the proper directions and affect the materials needed to materialize your mental image. Every business worthy of being called a business was erected and established in this fashion. This is employing the laws of all created things. By so doing you impart to the mentative currents the necessary Impetus and direction, and they will operate along these lines, and will proceed to materialize your mental image for you.

Things will come your way; people will appear who are necessary to your plans; information will come to you from strange sources, and in unexpected times and places; opportunities will open themselves up to you. But remember this that you must be prepared to act upon these openings, and opportunities. You must be alert and watchful, and expectant. You will have to do the work yourself, although the forces you have started into operation will supply you with the material. The door will be opened to you, but you must step in yourself; the tools and materials will be provided to you, but you must use them; the information will be laid before you, but you must make it your own. Even Mind-Power will not avail the lazy man. You must learn to "do things" yourself.

Remember, always this rule—this Triple-Key of Attainment, as I have often called it: (1) You must desire a thing most Intensely; (2) then you must earnestly Expect It: (3) then you must use your Will in the direction of action tending to bring it about. But first of all, as I have said, you must know just What You Want, and then proceed to create the mental matrix or mold by visualization—that is, you must proceed to Mentally See It As Already Existing.
